Golax App — Account & Data Deletion Policy

At Golax App, your data privacy and control are our priority.
As part of our compliance with global privacy standards and Google Play Store policy, users may delete their account and personal data at any time.
🔹 1. How to Delete Your Account
You can initiate deletion from within the Golax App app:
Steps:
- Open the Golax App
- Go to Profile
- Open Settings
- Tap Delete Account
- Confirm your request
Once confirmed, your account will be scheduled for permanent deletion.
🔹 2. Account Deletion Waiting Period (30 Days)
After initiating a delete request, your account enters a 30-day deactivation period.
During this time:
- Your profile and content will no longer be visible to others
- You cannot use the account unless you cancel the deletion request
This waiting period exists to prevent accidental or unauthorized deletion.
🔹 3. Canceling a Deletion Request
If you change your mind within the 30-day period, you may restore your account by simply logging back in and selecting:
➡ Cancel Account Deletion
Once canceled, your account will be fully restored.
🔹 4. Permanent Deletion After 30 Days
If no cancellation request is made within the 30-day period, your account and personal data will be permanently deleted.
🔹 5. Data Included in Deletion
After permanent deletion, the following will be erased or irreversibly anonymized:
- Profile details (name, phone number, profile photo)
- Posts, uploads, and content
- In-app activity and interactions
- Saved preferences and personalization data
- Authentication and login details
- Chat messages stored on servers (if applicable)
🔹 6. Legal or Security-Based Data Retention
Some data may be retained for 30–90 days for:
- Fraud prevention
- Abuse or safety investigations
- Legal compliance
This retained data is not used for personalization, ads, or platform activity and will be deleted or anonymized after the retention period.
🔹 7. If You Cannot Access Your Account
If you no longer have access but wish to delete your account, please contact:

Provide your registered mobile number for verification.
🔹 8. Restoration Eligibility
Once the deletion is finalized (after 30 days):
Your account cannot be recovered.
If you wish to return, you may create a new account.
